Little Fox Cookies - Small Woodland Sugar Cookies

Create a delightful batch of Little Fox Cookies – charming small sugar cookies that bring the spirit of the woodland into your treats. These cookies are not only delicious but also a fun and artistic baking project for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • teaspoon salt
  • Assorted food coloring gels
  • Edible food markers

Instructions:

Put the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl and mix them together until they are light and fluffy

Make sure the mixture is smooth by beating in the egg and vanilla extract

Mix in the all-purpose flour and salt slowly until a soft dough forms

To make different fox-like colors, divide the dough into several pieces and color each one with a different shade of food coloring gel

Separate the colored dough pieces and wrap each one in plastic wrap

Put the dough in the fridge for about 30 minutes to set

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C while you wait for the dough to chill

Put some of the chilled dough on a floured surface and roll it out until it's about -inch thick

Cut out your cookies with fox-shaped cookie cutters and put them on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper

After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden

After baking, let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down

Once the cookies are completely cool, make cute fox faces with edible food markers by adding mouth and fur patterns

Wait a few minutes for the markers' ink to dry before you serve or package the cookies
